Darren Mortimer

Darren Mortimer is an experienced educator and filmmaker currently serving as an IB Film Teacher and M5 Pastoral Leader at Sotogrande International School since August 2017. In addition to teaching, Darren Mortimer operates a filmmaking venture as a Director, Filmmaker, and Editor since March 2019. Previous roles include Freelance Creative Director at Black 33 Media Ltd, Film Teacher at Pamoja, and Head of Physical Education and Teacher of IB DP Film at the International School of London, where significant contributions were made to establish and develop new courses and sports programs. An educational background includes a Master of Arts in Film and Television Production and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Physical Education, complemented by various roles focusing on curriculum development and student performance management throughout a diverse teaching career.
