What is SotoMethod? SotoMethod is a mix of cardio and sculpting movements designed to deliver a full-body workout through a clear roadmap that eliminates uncertainty and maximizes your time. The roadmap is in the name. SOTO means Sixty On Ten On. Every section of class begins with a sixty second isometric hold followed by ten exercises for twenty seconds each for a total working time of four minutes and twenty seconds per block. Each class stacks blocks on top of each other to deliver a full body workout for all levels in 45 minutes or less. Why Soto Works... The isometric hold (think plank, squat, arm hold, lunge) starts the muscle fatigue process immediately. Exhausting the muscle group and working through the burn is what builds muscle endurance and definition. My goal is to deliver that burn without any pain. We are able to move from muscle group to muscle group within seconds because the isometric hold also serves as your active recovery. In order to see results we have to push through a challenge. That burn is where the change happens. This is when we shift our internal dialogue from “I can’t” to “I will.”
