Khurram Jawed

Khurram Jawed has extensive work experience in the technology field. Khurram started their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Streaming Networks, where they developed a video decoder for Phillips Tri-media processors. In 2010, they worked as a Computer Vision Consultant at PureDepth. In 2012, they joined the Laboratory for Animate Technologies as a Senior Computer Vision Engineer. Since 2016, Khurram has been working at Soul Machines, first as the Director of Research and currently as the Vice President of Animate Technology. Khurram has contributed significantly to the development and implementation of various technologies throughout their career.

Khurram Jawed has a strong academic background in the field of computer science. From 2002 to 2006, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Building upon this foundation, they then enrolled at The University of Auckland from 2008 to 2012 to complete a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Vision. Khurram's education history demonstrates their commitment to advancing their knowledge and expertise in the field of computer science, with a particular focus on computer vision.
