Chad Lawrenz

Chad Lawrenz is an experienced audio engineer and technician with a diverse background in the performing arts industry. Currently serving as A2 for "Once Upon A Mattress" at New York City Center, Chad also holds positions as Audio Tech at the Metropolitan Opera and Stagehand at Belasco Theatre. Additional roles include being a sub for A2/A3 and Followspot Operator at Disney's "The Lion King," and Audio Tech at Studio 54 Theatre. Chad has freelanced as an A1/A2 Audio Engineer since 2004 for Sound Associates, Inc., while also contributing to Goldman Sachs and SE Systems, Inc. Chad has been associated with the New York Philharmonic and The Shed (NY) as a freelance audio engineer since 2008 and 2018, respectively. Academic qualifications include an education from Western Carolina University.
