Hui Huang

Hui Huang is a seasoned immunologist with extensive experience in the development of cell-based immunoassays and evaluation of immune responses across multiple roles in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Immunology at Sound Biologics since July 2021, Hui has established in-house assays for antibody function in various settings. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Scientist in Immuno-Oncology at Khloris Biosciences, Scientist in Immuno-Oncology at SystImmune, and Immunologist at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation, where Hui led projects focused on anti-tumor efficacy and immune response assessments. Early career contributions as a Research Associate at the University of Saskatchewan involved developing tumor-specific T cell immunotherapy approaches. Academic qualifications include a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship from The University of British Columbia, a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Saskatchewan, and both an MD and a Master's Degree in Immunology from Fudan University.
