David Raney

David Raney has a strong background in banking and finance. David worked at Sound Community Bank and held the position of EVP, Chief Banking Officer from January 2020 to present. Prior to this, they were the SVP, Chief Banking Officer at the same bank from January 2008 to January 2020. Before joining Sound Community Bank, David worked at Washington Mutual as a Senior Loan Consultant, President's Club from August 2002 to August 2008. Their earlier experience includes working at Merrill Lynch as a Certified Financial Manager from June 1999 to August 2002.

David Raney completed their Executive Development Program at the Washington Bankers Association in 2010. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they attended the Pacific Lutheran University - School of Business where they earned their BBA in Economics. Before their university education, from 1991 to 1995, they completed their High School education at Seattle Prep.
