Erin Nicolaus

Erin Nicolaus is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Sound Community Bank. Prior to joining Sound Community Bank, Erin was the Director of Human Resources at Peoples Insurance Agency from May 2017 to April 2019. Prior to that, Erin was the Personnel Coordinator at East Penn Manufacturing Co. from July 2016 to May 2017. Erin has also served as the Human Resources Director at Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation (HQAA) from March 2009 to July 2016 and as the Human Resource Business Partner at Target Distribution Center from August 2005 to November 2008.

Erin Nicolaus has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, with a dual major in Marketing and Transportation/Logistics. Erin also has a certification from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate, as well as HRCI and SHRM certifications in Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), respectively. Lastly, they have a PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.

Erin Nicolaus reports to Laura Lee Stewart, CEO. They are on a team with Daphne Kelley - Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Brady Robb - SVP, Marketing Director, and Elliott Pierce - Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer .
