Heidi Sexton

Heidi Sexton is currently the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Sound Community Bank. Prior to this, they were with RSM US LLP from January 1998 to December 2007, where they served as Director. While at RSM US LLP, they were responsible for managing and performing internal audit and compliance consulting services for credit unions ranging in asset size nationwide. Heidi also worked directly with Audit Committees to achieve regulatory awareness and was responsible for staffing, budget development, sales, and retention of the Pacific NW region. Heidi was recognized as “Employee of the Year” in 2001.

Heidi Sexton's educational career began with their earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Heidi then went on to complete a Graduate Executive Development Program in Accounting from the Washington Bankers Association. After that, they completed a Graduate Executive Development Program from the Pacific Coast Banking School. Finally, they completed a National Compliance School from the American Bankers Association.
