Jason Southard

Jason Southard possesses extensive experience in sports media relations and production assistance. Currently working as a Freelance Production Assistant at Linacre Media and a Residential Recovery Specialist at Sound Community Services, Inc., Jason has held multiple roles since 2004, including Game Day Media Relations Assistant/Statistician for the Connecticut Sun and Statistician for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, where responsibilities include leading statistics at college basketball tournaments. Additionally, Jason serves as a statistician for the Cancun Challenge annually and assists with the NABC Convention at the Men's Final Four. Jason's past experience includes serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations at the US Coast Guard Academy. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University.
