Eddie Pasatiempo

Director at Sound

Eddie Pasatiempo joined Sound’s board in June 2021 because of his desire to learn more about the challenges facing the behavioral health industry, and to contribute to Sound’s vision to provide effective and innovative healthcare for its communities.

Pasatiempo is the Associate Managing Partner for NextLevel, a Pacific Northwest-based professional services firm, that helps mid-sized enterprises that are in transition, going through a transformation, in the midst of a transaction and/or planning/implementing strategic enabling technology initiatives. In addition, the firm provides interim C-Suite executives. Throughout his career, Pasatiempo has held a variety of executive roles in the technology industry with companies including Thomson Reuters, EDS, IBM, and a number of early-stage ventures

For years, Pasatiempo has actively been involved in the Seattle community by serving on the boards of organizations including the Seattle Humane Society, the Robert Chinn Foundation, the UW Alumni Association (Past President), Seattle University Albers School of Business & Economics (Past Chair), the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA- Past Chair) and the King County Boys & Girls Club (Past Chair). Today, Pasatiempo continues his community involvement by sitting on the boards of PAWS, the UW School of Arts & Sciences, providing strategic advice and oversight to a variety of start-up organizations, and mentoring at the University of Washington Foster’s School of Business MBA program.

Pasatiempo received his bachelor’s degree in communications and marketing from the University of Washington and completed the IBM executive management and development program at Harvard University. Since then, Pasatiempo has been recognized by his alma mater – the University of Washington – by being inducted into the Department of Communication Hall of Fame and receiving the UW Distinguished Alumni Award.
