Barry C. Wheeles

Barry C. Wheeles, MBA, currently serves as the Director of the Advisors Academy at Sound Income Group, directing investment advisory services for Sound Income Strategies and The Retirement Income Source since October 2021. Previously, Barry held the role of Director of Business Development at Sound Income Strategies from March 2020 to September 2021 and served as Executive Director of the Private Client Group at Zacks Investment Management between January 2014 and March 2020. Earlier positions include Managing Principal at Waddell & Reed, Regional Sales Manager and Assistant Branch Manager at Morgan Stanley, and Branch Manager at Ameriprise. Barry holds an MBA from Baker University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
