Derek Wright

Derek Wright is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recruitment, sales management, and entrepreneurship within the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Recruiter at Sound Income Group since May 2024, Derek previously held the position of Practice Director for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity & Data at RevsUp, where impactful client engagements and sales teams were developed for innovative companies. With a strong foundation in sales recruitment spanning various early-stage technology startups at DCW Consulting and the successful co-founding of 25 Point Systems, Inc., a gamified sales management platform, Derek also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Suffolk University. Previous roles at MassMutual and New York Life Insurance Company showcased exceptional leadership in sales team development and training. Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Plymouth State University.
