Paul Fitzpatrick

Paul Fitzpatrick currently serves as the Deputy Executive Director for Activation & Commissioning at Sound Transit, overseeing the activation and commissioning of all new light rail expansion projects since 2023. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions within SPL Infrastructure from 2012 to 2022, including Senior Rail Activation Manager and Managing Director, where responsibilities included managing Rail PPP & Alliance Projects, rail oversight development, and geothermal power projects. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Project Manager for Hawkins on the Karaha 30 MW Geothermal Power Station and as Senior Construction Manager at Metro Trains Melbourne from 2006 to 2011. Notably, Paul also played a key role in event management as Senior Project Manager for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation. Paul’s foundational experience in construction and project management spans multiple sectors, including vertical construction, hospitals, and infrastructure across various international contractors from 1981 to 2006.
