Philip Kuehn is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in performance, arranging, and teaching. Currently serving as Conductor and Co-Director of Performance Music at the University of Scranton since August 2022, Philip also works as a bassist and music arranger/producer at SoundBetter since March 2019, in addition to a successful freelance career dating back to 1997. Philip previously directed Jazz Studies at Snow College from July 2014 to August 2022 and taught private music lessons at Guitar Center in 2013-2014. Notable performance roles include regular bassist and arranger for Jonathan Batiste and Stay Human, as well as performances with Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis. Philip holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in jazz from The Juilliard School, completed in 2010 and 2008, respectively.
