Mark Spiezio

Mark Spiezio has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering, development, and consulting. Mark began their career in 1997 working as a Computer Programmer at JBER, where they maintained existing Pascal and C++ systems software and developed a middleware API for the company's Btrieve for Netware databases. In 2000, they became a Software Developer/Architect Consultant at Lazorpoint, where they worked on a variety of Microsoft Windows based client and web applications. In 2009, they worked as a Software Consultant at IntelliCorp, rewriting and organizing CSS, HTML, and Javascript of the company’s Marketing and B2B websites. In 2010, they became the Owner of Spiezio Software Consulting LLC, where they were a consultant and software developer specializing in Microsoft .NET technologies and products. In 2011, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Mercent Corporation, where they worked on reporting and analytic teams to upgrade their ETL solution from SSIS 2008 to SSIS 2012. In 2015, they became a Senior Software Engineer at CommerceHub, where they worked in a team to bring new Reporting Dashboard functionality to customer Web Applications. Finally, in 2019, they became a Team Lead - Data Engineering and Senior Software Engineer at SoundCommerce, where they helped Consumer Brands extend their potential and drive growth by developing and architecting high throughput data solutions and machine learning systems.

Mark Spiezio obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Cleveland State University between 1994 and 1998. Mark also holds several certifications, including an AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty from Amazon Web Services obtained in October 2017, an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Level from Amazon Web Services obtained in May 2014, and a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer from Microsoft obtained in October 2008.
