Jeanot Muster has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career in 2009 as a Bartender at Mona's Bistro and Lounge. They then worked as a Chief Technical Officer and Gunsmith at Jer's Gun Shop from 2010 to 2014. In 2011, Jeanot joined Fred Hutch as a Manager of Laboratory Operations and worked there until 2017.

During their time at Howard Hughes Medical Institute from 2005 to 2017, Jeanot held the position of Director of Laboratory Operations. They were involved in designing laboratory floorplans and managing supply pricing negotiations. They also obtained BSL3 and Select Agent use authorization.

From 2018 to 2019, Jeanot served as a Member of the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee at the Center for Infectious Disease Research. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Scientific Advisor at Clean Research.

In 2018, Jeanot joined the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research as a Member of the IACUC & IBC Planning Committee. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Manager, Research Occupancy Planning / Move Add Change at Seattle Children's.

At the University of Washington, Jeanot had multiple roles including Interim Director of ISCRM Genomics, Manager of ISCRM Infrastructure & Shared Resources, Director of ISCRM Histology, Director of ISCRM Aquatics, and Research Engineer III. Their responsibilities involved overseeing compliance, training users, and managing equipment.

They are currently a CoFounder of the Scientific Advisory Board at SoundEats, starting in 2022. They also hold the role of Alternate Member of the Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee at the University of Washington.

Jeanot Muster, CMAR, has an extensive education history in the field of biology and chemistry. Jeanot earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Washington, where they studied from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Edmonds College from 2001 to 2004, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Molecular Biology and an Associate of Technical Arts (ATA) degree in Organic Chemistry.

In addition, Jeanot Muster has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Some of these certifications include BSL3 Operations, Maintenance & Facility Verification from UC Irvine in March 2023, WA I-1639 Compliance Training from the Washington State Department of Licensing in April 2022, Fusion Liaison Officer Intermediate from the Washington State Fusion Center in April 2018, Protective Measures from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in February 2018, and Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device Detection from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in February 2018. Jeanot also possesses certifications in various other areas such as Safeguarding Confidential Information, Home Made Explosives Training, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombing, and more.
