Mohamed El Badawe, Ph.D, PMP®, has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mohamed has worked as a Hardware Electronic Engineer at Soundskrit since September 2020. Before that, they were a Research and Development Specialist at Pure Technologies and RMC from May 2019 to September 2020. Mohamed also worked as a Hardware Engineer (Part Time) at SimWiTech from March 2019 to May 2020.

From September 2017 to February 2019, Mohamed was a Hardware Project Lead (Corowave Project) at TandemLaunch Inc. Their role involved working with radars and transceivers for biomedical applications, investigating environmental factors, developing product strategy, and staying updated on business and technology trends.

Mohamed has also gained research and project engineering experience at the University of Waterloo. During this time, they also served as a Teaching Assistant, delivering tutorials and labs to students from various engineering backgrounds.

Additionally, Mohamed has co-founded and served as the Director of Operations and Planning at SpeakIoT, a company aiming to build an innovative IoT operator and services provider. Mohamed worked at SpeakIoT from May 2016 to December 2017, focusing on IoT connectivity and developing IoT solutions.

From September 2010 to September 2012, Mohamed worked as a Research and Project Engineering Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Their projects involved optimal sizing and modeling of hybrid energy systems and designing a hybrid street light system. Mohamed also served as a Teaching Assistant during this time, supervising students on their projects and assisting with assignments and exams.

Before pursuing their academic and industry careers, Mohamed worked as a Spectrum Monitoring Engineer at the General Authority for Libyan Telecommunication from January 2008 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for assigning spectrum for wireless services, designing circuits and systems, inspecting installations, and solving wireless interference problems.

Mohamed El Badawe, Ph.D, PMP® has an extensive education history. Mohamed pursued their doctoral studies at the University of Waterloo from 2013 to 2018, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Their research focused on Antennas, Microwaves, and Wave Optics.

Prior to their Ph.D., Mohamed completed their Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2010 to 2012. Their field of study during this period was Electrical and Computer Engineering.
