Sourav Nayak

Sourav Nayak is the current CFO at Soundstripe. Prior to this, they were a Full-time Consultant from August 2011 to April 2012, where they were responsible for evaluating companies seeking debt capital to support growth/expansion needs across the emerging markets. Sourav also supported a $10 million capital raising transaction for a garment manufacturer in Liberia seeking a combination of debt and equity to address growth and working capital needs.

From July 2006 to November 2007, Nayak was the Finance Manager - Proprietary Lending / Global Treasury at American Express. In this role, they were responsible for managing the financial risks associated with lending and borrowing activities across American Express. This included developing and implementing hedging strategies to protect against interest rate and foreign exchange rate fluctuations.

Sourav Nayak has a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

They are on a team with Trevor Hinesley - CTO and Co-Founder, Joey Rotella - Finance Manager, and Jack McCann - Marketing Manager. Sourav Nayak reports to Travis Terrell, Co-CEO and Co-Founder.
