Doris B. Cohen

Doris B. Cohen has a diverse work experience in various roles. Doris B. started their career in 1996 as a Crime Analyst for the City of Palo Alto and worked there until 2006. Doris B. then joined the City of East Palo Alto as a Crime Analyst from 2006 to 2011. In 2003, they worked as an Executive Assistant for Abundant Life Christian Fellowship, providing support to the Senior Pastor and managing day-to-day operations. In 2011, they joined SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter) as a Gunshot Forensic Analyst and later held roles such as Customer Success & Training Manager, Crime Analyst Success Manager, and Analytics Director. Currently, they serve as the VP of Data & Analytics for SoundThinking.

Doris B. Cohen completed their Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organizational Change & Leadership at USC Rossier School of Education from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Data Analytics Certification from UC Berkeley Extension in 2020. Doris also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach. Doris B. has a certification in Crime and Intelligence Analysis from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco. Doris completed their secondary education at Woodside High School.
