Michael Cunningham

Michael Cunningham has extensive experience in operations and training within law enforcement and public safety. Currently serving as Operations Director at ShotSpotter, Inc. since December 2019, Michael previously held the role of Operations Manager at CrimeCenter Software, where a complete case management system was developed to assist police departments. Additionally, as a Subject Matter Expert and Instructor at the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training, Michael contributed to the development of advanced forensic training courses certified by Homeland Security. Michael's background includes instructing the Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program for the US Department of State, managing training for Leica Geosystems, and serving as a Detective 1 with the New York Police Department for over 26 years, where responsibilities included crime scene management and training future officers.
