Cedric Canovas

Cedric Canovas has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and plant science. Cedric has recently worked at Source.ag as the VP of Data Science & Plant Science, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Data Science at Source.ag from July 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining Source.ag, Cedric worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where they held multiple roles. Cedric served as an Associate Director, Data Science from December 2020 to June 2021 and as a Lead Data Scientist from June 2019 to November 2020. Cedric also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at BCG from June 2016 to May 2019.

Cedric also has experience working at BCG GAMMA as an Associate Director, Data Science from December 2020 to June 2021.

In addition to their corporate roles, Cedric served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Operations Consulting at Columbia University in the City of New York from January 2016 to May 2016.

Prior to their corporate and teaching roles, Cedric held leadership positions at Junior Supélec Stratégie, including President from June 2014 to May 2015, and Project Leader from October 2013 to May 2015. Cedric also worked as an Auditor at Confédération Nationale des Junior-Entreprises from June 2014 to December 2014.

Cedric gained experience as an intern at Sagem, where they worked on Leap Engine Industrialization from June 2014 to August 2014.

Cedric Canovas obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Operations Research from Columbia University in 2016. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Diplôme d'ingénieur at CentraleSupélec. Also, Cedric Canovas holds a degree in MPSI-MP* from Lycée Carnot, which they completed between 2011 and 2013.
