Mathijs Pieters

Mathijs Pieters started their work experience as a Mentor and Student Assistant at the University of Groningen in 2015. Mathijs held these positions until February 2018. In September 2016, they also became a Mentor.

In 2019, Mathijs joined MessageBird as a Data Science Intern, where they worked until September 2020. During their time at MessageBird, they also served as a Machine Learning Engineer from September 2020 to March 2023.

Currently, Mathijs is working as a Data Scientist at Source.ag, starting from March 2023.

Mathijs Pieters completed their education in a chronological order. Mathijs started their academic journey in 2008 at Zernike College - Westerse Drift, where they pursued their atheneum degree with a focus on nature and health. Mathijs studied there until 2014.

Following that, Mathijs attended the University of Groningen from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Honours College and also completed the Propaedeutic Phase of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics, both within the field of study of Artificial Intelligence.

Continuing their education, Mathijs joined the University of Amsterdam in 2018 and completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2020.
