Emily Burns

Emily Burns is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT management and consulting. Currently a Delivery Consultant at Source Allies since January 2023, Emily previously held multiple roles at Ruan Transportation Management Systems from October 2011 to June 2022, including IT Manager, IT Operations Leader, IT Portfolio Manager, Manager of Start-ups, and Project Manager. Throughout these positions, Emily demonstrated leadership in operational and strategic initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving impactful projects. Emily’s early career includes roles as Corporate Logistics Manager at EFCO Corp. and Trucking Company Manager at Trans-form Trucking Co., as well as serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Academically, Emily holds a B.A. in General Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master's in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
