Terry Layne has a long history of work experience, beginning in 1992 when they were an IS Manager at Midwest Wholesale. In 1996, they moved to Affiliated Acceptance Corporation as a Senior Programmer Analyst. Two years later, they joined Melaleuca as a Programmer Analyst. In 2000, they began working as a Software Engineer at Synopsys. Finally, in 2003, they returned to their roots as an IS Manager at Source Logistics.
Terry Layne attended The Ohio State University, where they earned a BS/BA in Mathematics and Philosophy. They then attended Case Western Reserve University to study Engineering.
