Karen Searles

VP, AbilityOne Programs at SourceAmerica

Karen Searles is the Vice President, AbilityOne Programs at SourceAmerica. In this role, Searles will oversee all AbilityOne Program-related functions such as regulatory, oversight, and monitoring; the NPA Recommendation Process; Procurement List management; and the working relationship with the U.S. AbilityOne Commission.

Searles has held roles of increasing responsibility since she joined SourceAmerica in 2003, most recently serving as Senior Director, AbilityOne Programs. During her tenure, she’s played a key role in developing a matrixed organizational approach to delivering on the Cooperative Agreement responsibilities and ensuring the continued compliance with required deliverables. Additionally, she’s worked with leaders across the organization to drive positive ratings on the Cooperative Agreement performance metrics.

Previous roles have included Director, Cooperative Agreement, and Senior Quality Manager. As a Senior Quality Manager, she provided quality, process and technical assistance and training to SourceAmerica network nonprofit agencies and federal customers, and also worked to resolve issues, improve performance, and build relationships.

Searles has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Alabama.
