April Wills

April Wills is a seasoned publishing professional with extensive experience in children's and young adult publishing. Currently serving as the Publishing Operations Manager for Sourcebooks Kids since February 2020, April also holds the title of Managing Editor. Previously, April spent 15 years at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in various roles, including Lead Publishing Review Specialist, Sr. Librarian for Shared Services, and Publishing Operations Project Manager focused on Vendor Management, Contracts, and Permissions. April holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtained between 2010 and 2013, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English with a writing emphasis and History from Augustana College, received from 2000 to 2004. Education also includes a high school diploma from Joliet Township High School - West Campus, earned in 2000.
