Marc Weder

Marc Weder is the co-founder of Vesifact AG in Baar Switzerland. He and his father Professor Hans Georg Weder together launched Vesifact in 1987; the first spin-off company from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Mr. Weder is a registered pharmacist and earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration for SMBs at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.

Marc and his research team are recognized in the scientific community for their applied technologies and formulation expertise.

Marc has earned a reputation for successful collaboration with global partners in developing highly successful formulations that provide innovative solutions to absorption and bioavailability challenges. 40 patents and patents pending in more than 20 countries are evidence of his leadership, creativity, vision, and the effective team he has built at Vesifact.

Vesifact recently celebrated 25 years of success in the field of drug delivery, pharmaceutics, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements. Mr. Weder became Chief executive officer in 2003.
