Carlos Herrera

Carlos Herrera is a seasoned cloud engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud solutions, particularly specializing in Azure and AWS technologies. Currently serving as Lead Cloud Engineer at SourceScrub since July 2022, Carlos directs architectural decisions and mentors team members, enhancing cloud solution scalability and robustness. Previously, Carlos held roles as a Senior Cloud Engineer, focusing on Azure and infrastructure security, and contributed to systems integration and customer support at OpenNebula. Early career experiences include roles at Night Owl Security Products LLC, where Carlos researched and developed products for video surveillance, and Rayvolt, where mobile app development was a key focus. Carlos holds a degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana and a Master's Degree in Applied Informatics from Universidad de Las Tunas.
