Julian Alcala

Julian Alcala is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud engineering and DevOps. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Engineering at SourceScrub since May 2021, Julian previously held senior roles at Zignal Labs, where responsibilities included managing a DevOps and SRE team, overseeing the development of data ingestion solutions, and enhancing cloud operations. Prior to Zignal Labs, Julian contributed to Conversant, Inc. as a Software Engineering Manager, focusing on API performance and infrastructure automation, and served as the DevOps Manager at SET Media Inc. Julian began the career as a Linux Systems Administrator at Google, where contributions included data center deployments and system integrations. Julian holds a Master's in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
