Mbali Macu has a diverse aviation background, currently serving as a First Officer at South African Airways since August 2023. Prior to this role, Mbali served as an ATO Inspector at the South African Civil Aviation Authority from May 2019 to July 2023 and worked as a Flight Manager at 43 Air School (Pty) Ltd from December 2015 to May 2019. In addition to professional experience in aviation, Mbali is pursuing a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of South Africa, with studies commencing in January 2024.
