Pam Yako

Pam Yako serves as the Chairperson of the Board at South African National Parks since October 2021 and is a Board Member at Seriti Institute and South African Tourism. As Managing Director of Zenande Leadership since November 2010, Yako oversees the company's strategic direction. Previous roles include Managing Director at Zenande Leadership Consulting, Director General at both the Department of Water Affairs and the Department of Environmental Affairs, and Chief Operating Officer at the Department of Environmental Affairs. Yako's early career included a position as Municipal Manager at Amathole District Municipality. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Industrial Sociology from Rhodes University.
