James Ntimana

James Ntimana is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in service management and delivery. Currently serving as a Senior IT Service Manager at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) since February 2023, James previously held the position of Manager: End-User Computing & Service Management at the University of Pretoria from December 2021 to February 2023. James has a long tenure at SARS, where from July 2007 to December 2021, various roles included Information Technology Service Delivery Manager, Information Technology Service Management Manager, and Acting Manager Quality Assurance. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science Honours in Computing, certifications in Project Management and COBIT5 Foundation, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering and an ITIL V3 Foundation certification.
