Viresh Makanjee

Viresh Makanjee is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in technology and management roles. Currently serving as Technical Manager: Web Usability and Social Media Manager at the South African Revenue Service (SARS) since October 2010, Viresh leads the technical team responsible for the online presence and certain risk systems of the organization. Prior to SARS, Viresh owned and managed 9 Degrees Business Solutions, where roles included Client Relationship Manager, Financial Manager, Web Designer, and Graphic Designer. Earlier experience includes serving as an Information Systems tutor at the Commerce Labs. Viresh holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town.
