Director Of Risk Management / Patient Safety at South Arkansas Regional Hospital

Elaine Butler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Elaine started their career in 1996 as a Service Assurance Manager at Clean Harbors, where they managed the customer service group and implemented new policies and procedures. Elaine then moved on to Medical Center of South Arkansas in 2007, initially working as an LPN and later as a QRM Secretary. In 2012, Elaine joined SAMA HealthCare Services as a Nurse Manager, overseeing a team of LPNs and non-licensed staff. Finally, in 2019, they took on the role of Director of Risk Management/Patient Safety Officer/Pt Civil Rights Coordinator at Medical Center Of South Arkansas, and also served as Director of Risk Management/Patient Safety at South Arkansas Regional Hospital.

Elaine Butler received their High School Diploma from Smackover High School in Smackover, Arkansas in 1987. Elaine then pursued further education at South Arkansas Community College from 1987 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Business Administration / Nursing. In 2013, Elaine obtained their certification as a Registered Nurse from South Arkansas Community College.
