Dean Warren

Dean Warren has over 30 years of work experience in various managerial and leadership roles. Dean started their career as a Product Engineer at Corning Optical Communications, where they generated software for engineering applications. Dean then worked as a Computer Systems Manager at Sonoco CorrFlex/ Chesapeake Display & Packaging, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of computer systems in a multi-plant manufacturing environment.

Afterwards, Warren joined Rock-Tenn Company as a Strategic Planning Manager and Operations Manager, where they refined business methods and managed a budget of $12 million. Dean also served as the President/GM of Furniture USA, overseeing all aspects of an e-commerce retail corporation.

Warren later held positions at Supply One and The Drake Company as an Operations/Shipping Manager and Operations Manager, respectively. Dean was responsible for customer service, manufacturing, shipping, warehousing, and overall growth and profitability.

At Harris Display, Warren worked as an Operations Consultant, focusing on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and increasing margin through the implementation of metrics and improved information flow.

Dean then joined Pratt Industries (Pratt Display) as a Strategic Planning/Purchasing Manager before being promoted to Director of Planning & Process Engineering. In these roles, they were responsible for integrating customer systems, developing inventory plans, and negotiating supplier contracts.

In their most recent role at South Atlantic Packaging Corporation, Warren served as the Director of Embedded Operations. Dean was in charge of multiple embedded manufacturing operations at customer sites, overseeing financial profitability, quoting, staffing, production, logistics, quality, and safety. Dean achieved significant cost savings and increased efficiency through the implementation of lean manufacturing processes.

Dean Warren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Dean later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Marketing at Wake Forest University from 1988 to 1991.
