Andrew Stewart

Andrew Stewart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency management and operations within the South Australian Country Fire Service since August 2008, currently serving as the Senior Regional Operations Manager. In this role, Andrew provides senior leadership, guiding both career and volunteer fire officers to meet community needs in prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery for emergency incidents. Andrew’s expertise encompasses regional community risk assessments, capability planning, and fleet management, alongside a foundation of volunteer firefighting experience and management roles. Additionally, Andrew has served as a Senior Project Firefighter at the Department for Environment and Water and has a background in customer service from a previous role at Turkey Flat Vineyards. Academic qualifications include a Diploma of Emergency Management and a South Australian Certificate of Education, with ongoing studies at TAFE SA.
