Difan Li

Difan Li serves as the Board of Education Student Representative for South Brunswick Public Schools, representing approximately 8,000 students and advocating for their needs during board meetings. As the CEO and co-founder of SparkArts Foundation, Difan Li leads the non-profit in leveraging art for advocacy while managing a team of over 15 Executive Board members. Difan Li is also involved in research as a WISE Student Researcher at Rutgers University, working on the sequencing of Landoltia proteins for phytoremediation applications. In addition to these roles, Difan Li functions as a Dental Assistant and Front Desk staff at Dr. Chen's DDS Dental Clinic and demonstrates leadership in various clubs at South Brunswick High School, including serving as Art Club President, a BioMedical Futures Club Officer, and DECA Fundraising Director. Difan Li's dedication to educational and community initiatives is further exemplified by previous participation in Jetson and the South Brunswick Public Library's Teen program.
