Bryan P. Grady

Bryan P. Grady, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of labor market information and research analysis. Bryan P. has held various roles with different organizations, starting with their current position as the Assistant Executive Director for Labor Market Information at the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Labor Market Information Director at the same department from January 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, Dr. Grady worked as the Chief Research Officer at SC Housing from January 2019 to January 2022. Bryan P. also gained experience as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at the Ohio Housing Finance Agency from June 2018 to December 2018 and from December 2013 to June 2018, respectively.

Dr. Grady has also been actively involved in academia. Bryan P. worked as an Adjunct Economics Instructor at Franklin University from March 2012 to August 2016 and as a Community Faculty in Economics at Marion Technical College from March 2012 to June 2012. Additionally, they had various roles at Rutgers University, including Senior Research Associate from June 2006 to April 2012, Part-Time Lecturer from January 2010 to May 2010, and Teaching Assistant from August 2008 to December 2009.

During their career, Dr. Grady also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Delaware from August 2004 to December 2005. Bryan P. started their professional journey as an Intern at the City of North Royalton in June 2005, where they assisted with the city's community development plan. Prior to that, they also interned at Greater Ohio, where they conducted research on metropolitan fragmentation and created GIS maps and presentations.

Bryan P. Grady, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004. Bryan P. then pursued a Master of Arts in Economics from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware, completing their studies in 2006. Continuing their academic journey, Grady enrolled at the Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Planning and Public Policy in 2017.
