Jacob Sherbert

Jacob Sherbert, CFE has extensive work experience in auditing and internal audit roles. Jacob started their career as an Auditor at the South Carolina Office of the State Auditor in 2007 and worked there until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Jacob worked as an Auditor at the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce. Jacob then progressed to become an Audit Manager at the same department from 2013 to 2020. Currently, Jacob holds the position of Director of Internal Audit at the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce.

Jacob Sherbert, CFE has a strong educational background in business administration and accounting. Jacob pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Financial Management from the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following their undergraduate studies, Jacob Sherbert enrolled in Winthrop University and completed a Masters degree in Business Administration from 2010 to 2014.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jacob Sherbert has also obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Furthermore, in 2021, they acquired the designation of Building Resilience as a Leader from LinkedIn.
