Guillermo Espinosa

Guillermo Espinosa is an experienced professional in environmental and transportation planning, currently serving as the Active Transportation Planning Manager at the South Carolina Department of Transportation since December 2022. Prior to this role, Guillermo held the position of Principal Environmental Planner at the Central Midlands Council of Governments from September 2015 to January 2023, where responsibilities included coordinating regional planning efforts with various agencies and managing community and economic development programs. Guillermo's background also includes positions as a Senior Planner, multiple roles as a Teaching Assistant at Binghamton University, and a GIS Consultant at the Puerto Rico Planning Board. Guillermo holds a Master of Arts in Geography from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the Universidad de Puerto Rico.
