Timothy Parker, PE, PMP, currently serves as the District Mechanical Engineer for the South Carolina Department of Transportation, overseeing vehicle and equipment management for District 6 and leading capital improvements for facilities. As the Principal of Parker Consulting Engineers, LLC, Timothy specializes in construction, structural, and rigging engineering, including crane accident investigations. Timothy has also contributed to the academic field as an Adjunct Instructor at The Citadel, teaching various engineering courses from 2010 to 2020. Previously operating as the Principal of Southeastern Training & Inspection, LLC, Timothy provided training in crane operation and safety, and served as President of Parker Rigging Company, Inc. from 1982 to 2018, which focused on rigging, crane rental, and steel fabrication. Timothy holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from The Citadel.
