Susan Merrill, MBA, CPCU has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Susan began their career in 1998 as a News Reporter/Fill-in Anchor at WJXX-TV ABC 25. In 2000, they moved to WIS-TV as a News Anchor before joining South Carolina Educational Television as a Reporter/Anchor. In 2002, Susan transitioned to the insurance industry, working at Farm Bureau Insurance. Susan initially served as the Corporate Communications and later became the Director of Marketing.

Susan Merrill, MBA, CPCU, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. Susan also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Winthrop University College of Business. In addition to their educational background, Susan has obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in January 2020.
