Hannah Mooney

Hannah Mooney is an accomplished professional in public humanities with extensive experience in membership coordination, event management, and educational program development. Currently serving as the Membership and Events Coordinator at the South Carolina Historical Society since October 2021, Hannah manages a member database, tracks financials, coordinates public programming, and engages with over 7,500 subscribers through e-newsletters and social media. Previous roles include serving as the Exhibits, Programs, and Engagement Manager at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, where Hannah curated exhibits and managed public programs, and as an intern at various cultural institutions, including the RISD Museum and Historic Charleston Foundation. Hannah holds a Master of Arts in Public Humanities from Brown University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Furman University.
