Kayla Hortman

Kayla Epps is a Financial Accountant at South Carolina Ports Authority since May 2021, previously holding the position of Finance Intern within the same organization. Kayla gained experience as a Front Office Assistant at Bullwinkel Orthodontics from May to August 2020, and as a Respite Provider for Dorchester County Board Of Disabilities between April 2018 and August 2019. Earlier work includes a Student Intern role at Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union from June 2016 to May 2018. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from Auburn University (January 2022 - May 2023) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Winthrop University (2018 - 2021), in addition to a High School Diploma from Summerville High School (2014 - 2018).
