Matt Deantonio

Matt DeAntonio has extensive experience in the real estate industry, starting as an Account Executive at Clear Channel Communications in 2000. In 2003, they joined Carroll Realty, Inc. as a Realtor Broker, specializing in residential, second home, investment, and development properties. Matt also represented commercial buyers and sellers for their business and investment needs.

In 2012, DeAntonio became Vice President of Finance on the Board of Directors for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS (CTAR). Matt then served as President Elect in 2014, 2015 President, and Immediate Past President in 2016 for CTAR. During their tenure, they led the Strategic Thinking Group to assess threats to the real estate industry and made recommendations for the organization's sustainability and growth. Matt also focused on improving the effectiveness and awareness of the Realtors Housing Opportunities Fund to support affordable housing in the local community.

DeAntonio was involved in various leadership roles within CTAR, including Professional Standards Chairperson, where they promoted and enforced the Realtor Code of Ethics, and Board Member for the Charleston Regional Development Alliance. Matt also served as an Advisory Committee Member for the South Carolina Department of Insurance.

In 2024, DeAntonio joined South Carolina REALTORS as a Regional Vice President.

Matt DeAntonio earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Marketing from the University of South Carolina between 1996 and 2000. Before attending university, they attended Bishop England High School. There is no information available about their time at CCIM.
