South Carolina Student Loan
Ray Jones has been working in the student loan industry since 1997, starting at SC Student Loan Corporation as a Client Relations Manager. In 2016, Ray transitioned to South Carolina Student Loan where Ray currently serves as the Vice-President of Loan Programs. With a background in business and managerial economics, Ray has extensive experience in managing client relations, default prevention, financial literacy, and serving as a direct liaison to the Federal Department of Education. Ray is also responsible for writing, reviewing, and approving procedures within the loan programs department.
South Carolina Student Loan
SC Student Loan is a nonprofit organization established by the state to make education loans to South Carolina residents and students attending South Carolina institutions. Since its inception in 1973, SC Student Loan has issued more than $8.2 billion in loans and helped more than 460,000 students pursue their educational goals. Thanks to their efforts in consumer education and planning, they help students borrow less, enabling SC Student Loan to maintain one of the lowest default rates in the nation.
