Fimreite Duane (Duey) has over 25 years of experience in the food industry, specializing in research and development, product management, and technical support. Currently, Fimreite serves as the New Product Development Manager at South Chicago Packing LLC, focusing on expanding the use of animal fats in food applications. Previous roles include Research and Development Manager at CoreFX Ingredients LLC, where Fimreite played a key role in establishing a new R&D department, and Technical Manager for Snack Seasonings at Givaudan, managing a team and providing support to over 20 customers. Fimreite also held positions as Director of R&D at John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc., Global Product Manager at Cognis, and Marketing Specialist/Industry Liaison for the Functional Food for Health Program at the University of Illinois. Fimreite holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a B.S. in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
