Clarisse Poon

Clarisse Poon is a dynamic leader and advocate for underprivileged communities, serving as the Founder and President of Light Their Rights since January 2020, where initiatives include the YOUTH and HOMELESS branches. Clarisse also holds the position of President at Kids4Kids, organizing impactful events such as the Empowered Futures Exchange and leading the Advocates Leadership Team. As a UNITAR Asia Pacific Youth Ambassador and Young Envoy at UNICEF Hong Kong, Clarisse engages youth on sustainable development goals and contributes to video projects promoting social awareness. Additional roles include Junior Chief Executive at The Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong, Junior Journalist at South China Morning Post, and Marketing Director at CommuniTeachhk, further emphasizing a commitment to education and community service. Currently pursuing education at St. Paul's Co-educational College and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Clarisse is dedicated to leveraging experiences in leadership and communication to promote positive change.
