Helen Leavey

Helen Leavey is an experienced media and communications professional currently serving as Community Manager at Round Our Way since November 2023 and as a Sub-editor at the South China Morning Post since September 2021. With a diverse freelance career beginning in January 2013, Helen has worked as a journalist, communications consultant, ghostwriter, and editor. Previous roles include Media Specialist for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust, where significant media coverage was achieved, and PR and copywriting for Pick & Mix Marketing. Helen also has experience consulting for tourism organizations such as Visit York. Educational qualifications include a postgraduate journalism qualification from Redruth College and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Business Administration from Nene College.
