Ian G.

Ian G. is a seasoned production editor currently with the South China Morning Post since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a senior editor and columnist for China Daily from September 2017 to September 2023, where Ian composed weekly and monthly columns on a range of topics including politics and economics, as well as creating and presenting documentary-style video content. Ian also held the position of community content/engagement editor at the Iowa City Press-Citizen from October 2015 to November 2016, managing a newsroom and authoring editorials and columns. Earlier experience includes features editor at The Facts Newspaper, where Ian wrote feature articles and columns as part of an editorial team. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and Film Studies from William & Mary, obtained in 2012.
